Do you know someone you would like to invite to the next New Members class? “Foundations of Faith” is for anyone interested in learning more about the ministry of Calvary congregation and our Christian faith. Those joining the class are under NO obligation to join the congregation, but our New Members Class does provide that opportunity.
The spring class begins next Sunday, February 12th, in Room 125 from 9:20-10:30am and continues for 6 Sundays concluding on March 18th. There will also be two weekday classes, Tuesday, February 28 and Tuesday, March 6 from 6:30-8:30pm. One of those evening classes will be a SHAPE session (Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, & Experiences).

Walking with God in the Dessert by Ray VanderLaan
Filmed on location in the Middle East, this series will draw you into the word of God and by faith unto God Himself. Small groups focus on 7 Faith Lessons from scripture and the DVD. there are many study tools, discussion guide, and person Bible studies.
Worship and sermon will follow the study themes.
Participant sign ups start January 15
February 5 is kickoff Sunday.

Ladies - make plans for a fun-filled retreat on March 2 - 3 at the Jameson Inn South in Southport.
The retreat begins Friday evening at 7 p.m. with the first video session and small group gathering. Saturday morning begins with breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by video and small group session. Lunch will be served. The retreat ends Saturday at 2 p.m.
Retreat registration begins on January 14 at church. Registration is limited to 50 people. The fee for the retreat is $25. If you'd like to reserve a room at the Jameson Inn a double room with two queen beds is $79 plus tax. (You do not have to stay at the hotel to attend the retreat.)
