We are happy to report the success of the recent book sale. There were multiple beneficiaries, including:
·Older adult ministries, that received over $500 in funding from the proceeds of the sale
·The CLCS Library...we were able to choose 20 books from the books donated for the sale, to include in our permanent collection
·Congregation and community readers, who were able to buy over 1200 books, videos and audio tapes at bargain prices
·Various charities who received the unsold books as donations

·A new section on health concerns, including a new book on strokes and a book on breast cancer
·Over 200 works of fiction, including the complete Jan Karon Mitford Series, seven Karen Kingsbury novels, several Terri Blackstock novels, and multiple works by Beverly Lewis and Tracie Peterson
·A section devoted to books about the Lutheran Church, including a copy of Here I Stand, the most popular biography of Martin Luther
·Two Christian classics...The Robe and Shoes of the Fisherman
·From recent bestseller lists we have My Stroke of Insight, The Shack, The Last Lecture, 90 Minutes in Heaven, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Mistaken Identity, The Red Tent, Three Cups of Tea, and The Secret Life of Bees
