FAME

FAME, Fun Adult Ministry Etc., is a group of young professional Christians dedicated to growing in our Christian faith through Bible studies, witnessing to others in service events and growing together in fellowship.

FAME is starting a new bible study on Wednesday July 21. This study will be from the "Christianity 101" series using the study on Phillipians. Fellowship is at 6:45 PM and the study starts at 7 PM. This is a weekly study, and is an excellent opportunity to grow in faith with each other. Once a study is complete we decide within the group as to what we will study next. The studies have been on Wednesday evenings which was decided to be the best time for us to meet, but we are open to new days and times, as everyone's schedules vary.

FAME stays active with social fellowship events and community service projects. In the past for social events, we have gone to places like: The Claddagh Irish Pub downtown, Oliver Winery in Bloomington, The Rathskeller downtown and Indians baseball games. Previous service events have included: created care packages for church members away at college, raised money for international charities, Food For The Poor, helped unload and sort donations for Katrina relief, and helped build a Habitat for Humanity home. We also have volunteered at the Lighthouse mission. We are currently working on collecting school supplies for needy children.

As you can understand, FAME has all levels of involvement; and being active young adults, many of our commitments allow us to only attend Bible Study or only attend the monthly events. We would love and welcome any part of your participation.
