2009 Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity

Project: Building Two New Homes on Kenwood Avenue

We hope you will contribute to our efforts with pryaers for the families and crew safety, financially by helping to raise the 10 percent of the total cost of building, and physically during the actual build.

Volunteers Needed

Consruction: 4 hour shifts, morning and/or afternoon; 12 volunteers per shift per house; no special skills required

Hospitality: Proivde and serve lunches (5o per day); provide coffee, juice and donuts for morning shift

Devotions: Lead morning or noontime devotions. (Those who are unable to participate we hope you will pray for protection from injury and time working together.)

2009 Schedule:

Sept. 8, 9, 11, 12     Framing, roof work, doors and windows

Sept. 18     Insulation and fire caulk

Oct. 1,2,3     Painting, siding, doors, cabinets

Oct. 8,9,10     Siding, interior trim, caulk, railings

Oct. 15, 16, 17     Mini barn, landscaping, punchlist

Oct. 23     Home dedication

Calvary's two days we are scheduled to do everything for both houses: Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 11.
