Fellowship Drive-Thru Event
Saturday, May 15 • 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Calvary’s members will have the opportunity to drive-thru the south parking lot and fellowship while in the safety of their own car or will have the option to get out, walk around, sit down eat lunch, and fellowship the ole fashioned way (just not as close). Calvary’s ministry teams will once again be participating as well as the youth group.

Kids Treasure Hunt Bring your kids to the Drive-Thru event for a fun-filled Treasure Hunt! Activities include chalk drawing, riddles, a treasure chest snack, bubbles, plant growing, and food. For Preschool through 4th grade.

Adult Ministry will be collecting prescriptions and medical supplies for the St. Thomas clinic. Please bring unused prescription medications to the drive-thru event and be sure they are properly labeled with the medication name and use by date. In addition, over the counter medications and vitamins will be collected such as antacids, ointments, vitamins of any type, and nutritional supplements. Incontinence supplies along with gently used orthopedic braces and splints will be accepted. Adult Ministry will also have a plant swap (perennials and extra seedlings.)

Fellowship will once again be providing a sack lunch consisting of a choice of a grilled hot dog or an Uncrustable®, potato chips, cookies, and a bottle of water or juice box. Bring your children and let them create their best chalk art on the
walkways leading into the Sanctuary, enjoy the playground, complete a craft, or possibly go on a treasure hunt.

Outreach will have their spring flowers that were preordered available for pickup as well as a few extra for sale. These will be limited so if you want to ensure you get one, preorder or show up early!

Compassion will be collecting baby items for Life Centers. Instead of doing the baby bottle money collection this year, we are collecting baby items that are needed at Life Centers for their clients.  These are the new items being asked for: newborn diapers, onesies, bottles, pacifiers, formula, and wipes.  “The mission of Life Centers is to affirm the value of life by providing a network of care to those experiencing pregnancy-related crisis and by compassionately presenting biblical truth resulting in changed lives to the glory of God.”  We thank you for your contributions and helping those who value life!

Parish Education is already planning ahead for this summer’s VBS. They will be passing out information about VBS where everyone will feel like they are Treasured. In addition, you will receive a prayer magnet for your refrigerator.

Women in Mission will be participating by handing out Seeds of Kindness seed packets and crocheted crosses. In addition, this would be a great time to drop off yard sale items for the June yard sale.

Calvary’s Youth will be sponsoring a car wash in the north parking lot during the drive-thru event. Drop off your car and then walk over and enjoy lunch and some much-needed fellowship.
