Each of us have our own “associations” with the word “Thanksgiving.” It most often brings to mind food, family, and football, but does it as quickly call forth in our mind the idea of praise, gratitude, and a life of contentment? Everything is a gift in this life. God has showered upon us grace upon grace. He does not ask for us to repay him. He invites us to rejoice with him. May this Thanksgiving be filled with songs of praise and prayers of thanks, as we remember the overflowing grace shown to us in Christ Jesus.
