The Expanding Mission

Summary
Our God is a God of mission. There is good news to be shared, but who will proclaim it? In Luke 9, Jesus sent the twelve, but it was not enough. In Luke 10, he sent 72 more out into the world, but even that is not enough, as he encourages them to pray that more may be added to their number. Jesus sends us this day into our every day life and every day relationships to bring the gifts of acceptance, peace, and community into the lives of those around us.
