Summary
Today, we hear Israel ask God why he doesn’t help them, and we hear God’s answer: It’s not that he is not helping! He is ever ready to help! Yet Israel in its iniquity does not want God’s help or God’s laws. Though we are far removed from Israel’s problems, we’re not far removed from the idea of “iniquity.” What does it mean to submit to God’s will for our life? How does forgiveness change our obedience?
