How's the Water?
Even though winter is just a few weeks away, I thought it would nice to take us back to summertime. Imagine standing by the side of a pool, lake, or ocean. You witness people frolicking happily in the water. As you are getting ready to jump in you ask, “How’s the water?” “It’s great!!” So without hesitation you jump right in only to surface gasping for air since the cold water took your breath away. “Great?!” Fifteen minutes later someone asks you the same question. Your response is GREAT. Why? You got used to it.
Now back to our recent situation and alternative educational setting with remote learners in 1st – 8th grade. How is the proverbial water? We have experienced this before. How are you doing? Has this time been an easier transition for you or has it caused a greater unrest? Have you jumped right in or are you slowly getting your feet wet? No matter your circumstances please know that you are not alone. We have a lifeguard who never sleeps nor takes a break. We are loved and cared for beyond our finite understanding. God knows the concerns and cares of your heart. He sends to you His peace.
We continue to equip and provide for the needs of our students. We ask the Lord to grant to us His wisdom as we walk this path once again. Jump in! The water is great!!
