Predictions Abound

SING a LITTLE LOUDER
I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Psalm 108:3–4

Predictions Abound

Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow or not tomorrow? Will the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers win the Super Bowl? Will it rain, snow, or be dry next week? Will the St. Louis Cardinals or the Chicago Cubs win the Central? Will the coin flip on Super Bowl Sunday be heads or tails? The list is endless. Every day we make predictions about events yet to occur. Even which road to take during rush hour is considered.

We look to find answers as we consider the possibilities that abound. The thought of selecting the predicted outcome for our benefit is the optimal desire.
Have you ever considered what you think your children would be and do as they grow and mature? A doctor, dentist, professional athlete, teacher, electrician, nurse, counselor, military, pastor, businessman or woman, or a field in technology? The list is endless. The opportunities and outlook are bright.

Each day the students are provided with additional experiences and teaching as they continue their preparation for future direction and decisions. The greatest of these teachings have no prediction necessary for the outcome is guaranteed and known through faith. Where will I spend eternity? The students are taught God’s Word of promise and assurance. There is no doubt. Jesus tells us that He is the Resurrection and the Life. It doesn’t matter if a groundhog sees its shadow or a football team loses the Super Bowl. The outcome is not dependent on earthly matters. What matters is that God sent His One and Only Son to suffer and die for our forgiveness and reconciliation to God the Father. We sing a little louder as we praise and thank God for His great and eternal love.
