El Salvador Mission Update
Ken & Diane Robinson and Lutheran High student, Indi Keefer, are currently serving in El Salvador. They will spend three weeks working with Emerge Global, Gente Ayudando Gente, and Hope for Children. The rest of the mission team will arrive July 6.
They will work in schools refurbishing play sets, assisting with a gardening project, and sharing their faith through Bible stories, crafts, and activities. Afternoons will be spent with Hope for Children, an after school program which provides a hot meal and supplements educational learning. The team will complete science experiments, reinforce mathematics skills, and conduct a VBS program. Calvary’s mission team is sponsoring a soccer tournament to bring the town’s youth and adults together.
