A hoppin’ good time.

Hundreds of children take part in Calvary Lutheran Church Easter Egg Hunt.

The Calvary Lutheran Church Easter hunt brought nearly 600 people together on Indy’s southside, Saturday, March 23. Families enjoyed a day full of activities including the egg hunt, a science show exploring the wonders of chemistry, a large petting zoo, crafts, face painting, selfie station, numerous bounce houses, complimentary lunch, and games.

The annual event was free for family, friends, and neighbors to attend. Visitors were greeted with Easter bags and destination maps highlighting nine campus activities including nursery time for toddlers. Activities were tailored to children in three ages groups, 0 to 4, 5 to 8, and 9 to 12 years old.

Additional family events are being planned, including a Pizza Night, Family Movie Night, and more. To learn more about future events and church worship services please visit the Calvary Lutheran Church and School’s website at
