Summary
Luke 2 gives the testimony of Simeon, A man living at the time of Jesus birth, who was promised by God that he would die until he saw the promised Savior to come with his own eyes. Simeon’s life was a living testimony about who God that came as a reaction to all of the things God was doing in his life. His testimony proclaimed God to be a faithful, present, provider. This faithful, present, providing God is the same God that we have today.
