Summary
Why do we gather for church? What role does the church play in our lives? God offers to make himself present among his people. In a world filled with negativity and bad news, we come to hear a message of hope. In a world that pressures us to measure up and to fit in, we come to church to hear the voice of Jesus reminding us of who and whose we are. Within this community of believers, we experience the depths of God’s grace and the opportunity to practice what we preach, as we encourage one another.
