Summary
We often wish we had all the details of Jesus’ ministry. There are so many accounts that leave out tantalizing details that we wish we had. In Mark 7:31-37, we receive several vivid details of how Jesus healed the deaf mute man that we wish we never knew. So, why does Mark record them or more importantly why does Jesus do them? We see in this account the surprising way in which Jesus is willing to enter our hardships and heartaches and fully invest himself into our care.
