Summary
We look for many different things in this life and what we get is often the most unexpected. The women on that first Easter morning expected to find death and sadness there at the tomb of Jesus. What they found instead changed their lives and ours forever. There is nothing that can explain the amazing transformation of their lives and the growth of Christianity other than the unexpected realities of an empty tomb and repeated eyewitness accounts of the resurrection of Jesus.
