Summary
As the apostle, Paul, writes to his protégé, Timothy, he shares his heart. Paul encourages Timothy to remember the grace of his calling and the promises of Christ. He reminds Timothy of the powerful forming power of the Holy Spirit and the work that God has given the church- to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth. That work continues today through us as we also remember that we are formed by the gospel and sent by the power of the Holy Spirit.
