Summary
We want easy and convenient ways to follow Jesus, but that isn't always God's way. Peter was rebuked as a stumbling block by Jesus because Peter thought in the ways of the world and wanted to avoid conflict and adversity. The Christian life and the cross are often struggles, and our lives are more than just the things of this world.
