Summary
Jesus draws us into the details of this fictional story to consider the topics of fairness and justice, generosity and reward. Jesus invites us to consider the heart of man vs the heart of God, as we consider that His ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. After all, the beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair, for it gives where we have not earned, it blesses where we have not deserved. God in His generosity gives freely of the riches of Christ, so that all may not grumble but rejoice.
