Summary
The final message in the “Sing it. Live It.” series in which we are studying the scripture that has inspired popular songs and hymns. The verses and chorus of “O Come O Come Emmanuel” are drastically different. The verses paint a picture of humanity and the consequences of sin. The Chorus paints a picture of life in God’s perfection. Our sin separates us from God. So how is it possible that in this hymn we can call Jesus, “Emmanuel” which means, “God with us?"
