What does it mean that the Lord calls us His “sheep”? It isn’t a passing reference, but a repeated metaphor that says something both about Him and us. In a world in which many shepherds have let us down and left us wanting something more, what does it mean that Jesus promises that He is THE shepherd, who will seek and rescue His sheep?
