Summary
Jesus steps into our unique situations and meets us where we are at and addresses the needs that we face. Mary and Martha are a prime example of the unique care that our Lord provides. Both women are experiencing the same pain over their brother’s passing and yet Jesus gives to them exactly what each one needs. To one He gives a word of truth. To the other He gives tears of compassion. May we turn to Him, who is both our strength and our hope, our rock and our compassionate friend.
