Unexpected

Passage: Luke 2:40-52

Preacher: Pastor Kurt Ebert

Series: Christmas

Category: Calvary Lutheran Church

Keywords:

Summary

Sometimes it feels like we can’t figure God out. We come with our expectations of what God will do and how God will act, but so often He acts in unexpected ways in our lives and in our world. Mary and Joseph must have been completely confused about Jesus’ desire to stay in the temple, but His plan and His purpose was obvious to Him. We may not always understand them, but God’s plans are always for our best.
