Why Them?

Summary
Of all the people that God could have chosen and of all the places they could have gone, why did God send the angels to the shepherds out in the field? We have heard the story so many times that we think its only ‘natural’ that God would choose the shepherds to be the recipients of such good news. To the original hearers, the experience would have been far different. So this Christmas we ask ourselves, “Why did God choose them?”
