Mission:
We support the Calvary India Mission Tamil ministry founded by Pr. Raji in three main areas: 1) sponsor mission trips to India, 2) share God’s word through the Tuition and Tailoring centers in Ambur, India, 3) support the monthly worship service and outreach to Tamil speaking Indians in Indianapolis.

Activities:

• India Mission trips with mission team members from Calvary and Mt. Olive Lutheran.
  • Distribute quilts, Tamil Bibles and school back packs.

  • Connect with the Tailoring and Tuition center students and encourage the local Christian leaders in their mission outreach.
  • Participate in the graduation ceremonies for the Tailoring Center graduates. All graduates received a free sewing machine.
• The local Tamil church group conducts worship services at Calvary once per month, in addition to home prayer meetings and social events.

Goals:

• Build up the Sponsorship support program for the Tuition and Tailoring Centers. Individual donors can financially sponsor an Indian student directly and become a prayer partner. Share the Tailoring/Tuition Center individual student sponsorship vision with more congregations, mission groups and individuals.
• Continue Mission trips in October and participate in Tailoring Center graduation.
• Further expand the mission teams to bring in participants from new congregations in addition to Calvary and Mt. Olive Lutheran.
• Identify funds to expand the Tailoring and Tuition Center programs to encompass more centers and more students.
• Maintain a strong Tamil church group at Calvary and look for opportunities to expand our community.
