The Calvary Lutheran Church Easter hunt brought more than 700 people together on Saturday, April 12. Families enjoyed a day full of activities including three egg hunts, our Praising Hands Puppet Ministry, a petting zoo, crafts, face painting, Easter photo booth, bounce houses, complimentary lunch, and games. God provided beautiful weather for this special event!

The annual event was free for family, friends, and neighbors to attend. Visitors were greeted with Easter bags and destination maps highlighting nine campus activities including nursery time for toddlers. Activities were tailored to children in three age groups, 0 to 4, 5 to 8, and 9 to 12 years old. A total of 322 children searched for 5,266 Easter eggs!

Additional family events are being planned. To learn more about future events and church worship services please visit clcs.org.

About Calvary Lutheran Church and School
Located at 6111 Shelby Street Indianapolis, IN 46227 on the southside, Calvary Lutheran Church and School lives under the cross of Christ. From the five crosses that hang in the heart of Calvary’s sanctuary, to those found on the walls of our Christian Day School, our members, students, families, and staff are forever reminded that we are saved by Jesus’ death and resurrection, because God loves us. Empowered by that love of God in Christ Jesus, our mission is to Engage People In Christ through Connecting, Learning, Caring, and Serving.
