Summary: There can sometimes seem to be a disconnect between the promises that God makes and our experience in this world. But on greater reflection, we see that God’s promises all come to fulfillment in Jesus. And through his Word and by the power of the Spirit, we see that he is not far off and absent. Jesus is in our midst even today reminding us that all God’s promises find their “yes” in Christ.
