Summary: Wouldn’t it be nice if we could stop time to enjoy our favorite moments for as long as we wanted? That is what Peter tried to do at the transfiguration. But Jesus had other plans. It was a learning experience that taught Peter, just as it teaches us, that no moment is meant to last forever. Rather, each moment helps prepare us for the moments to come.
